April 10, 2010 - facebook Page Added!
 I have finally set up a FACEBOOK page.
You will find it under Magic Stripped with Richard Forget. I'm
not always the best at updating and returning messages but I promise
to be a little bit more diligent in the future.

September 2010 - I will be Performing in Eastbourne,
England at the International Brotherhood of Magicians annual convention.
November 2010 - I will be in Japan as a part
of the AMA convention and I will also be performing in Macau, China

Recent Highlights
This past year I was in Paris
France where I was awarded the Mandrake D'or (Golden Mandrake).
This award has been given in the past to artists such as David
Copperfield and Siegfried and Roy. Needless to say I am humbled.
The award ceremony is a part of a two hour magic special that
will air in France and throughout Europe. I was especially pleased
because the producers asked me to perform both An Urban Phantasy
and News of the World.
Last summer in Nashville, Tennessee I was awarded
FIRST PRIZE in the International Brotherhood of Magicians stage
competition. I performed and won with my act, News Of The World,
in a competition which is considered to be the world championships
of magic. Magicians from around the world from nations such as
Japan, South Korea, Spain, USA and of course Canada battled against
each other. I emerged victorious. No magician has ever taken first
place in this annual competition on two separate times with two
different acts...until now. That person is yours truly.

I just returned from Beijing where I performed on
national television. I must hold some kind of record for most appearances
by a western performer on Chinese television. I was just informed
that I definitely was one of the first. In 2001 I performed, for
the first time, on Chinese television. According to some well informed
people I was one of the first western style magicians to perform
on CCTV. CCTV is China's national network of channels. I had no
idea.
The truth is I really love performing and visiting China. I have
many great friends there and have many great memories because of
China ...and I'm just getting started!!
My new full length show, Magic Stripped, is up and
going. It is a constant work in progress and I am always refining
and adding new pieces to it. I have assembled a great group of
performers and crew. If you are legitimate agent or booker please
contact me to get a full length DVD of the show. Look for tour
dates etc. in the future to still be determined.
Many people have asked me why this show is entitled Magic Stripped.
The reasoning behind it is simple. I am attempting to assemble
a show that is more about the performance of pure magic and less
about filler material. In other words what I perceive to be fluff
content has been STRIPPED away. Hence the title Magic Stripped.
It does NOT mean I will be taking off my clothing. Of course...that
is subject to change.
I recently performed on China's largest television
network on a show very similar to Dancing with Stars. The difference
is that instead of dancing the celebrities were taught magic. I
performed and was a judge. When I have video I will upload some
to the MEDIA section.
I HAVE OTHER PROJECTS THAT I AM WORKING ON AND VERY
EXITED ABOUT. I HOPEFULLY WILL BE ABLE TO ANNOUNCE SOMETHING IN
